The Feline Friends That Started It All

Meet , the famous feline friends behind the Mr. Wilson book series!

When the woman that sold Dennis and Dolores their home told them that she could only take two of her pets with her to her new home, Dennis and Dolores decided to adopted her cats…making that five cats for the Horine family!

The Horine cats were used to going outside, so they had to make a pet door so they could come and go as they please. When Mr. Wilson (the adopted feline friend) found out he could go out too, he was elated! There is a fence to keep everyone safe with a gate, but whenever the side door was opened he would sneak out and explore beyond the gate.

This is when God gave Dennis the idea of a children’s book series to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, “The Adventures of Mr. Wilson: Beyond the Gate.” God gave the name Mr. Wilson to this curious Himalayan cat, and his antics bring to life the lives of Dennis and Dolores and their fur babies.
